I am a B.tech holder, can I have some advice on how to join as a Technician?

As you know joining a company is often times a matter of timing...for example today we have a few openings, next week we will have new jobs, next month others, and so on...
One thing is that even if you join as a technician you are eligible to change career internally once a new opportunity arises. I also moved into this role from another job

After what tenure will I be promoted to Engineer ?

Again, it really depends. Once a position as Engineer is open you can apply for it, go through the interview process and if everything goes well you can change team...the best thing would probably be consulting with your supervisor for promotions
