From a college graduate to a Software Engineer

Technology has always been an intriguing field that led me to choose Computer Science as my major in college, post which I joined Micron, which was rather a smooth segway into the corporate world to comprehend how business, technology and different departments function. Almost everyday brings an opportunity to learn something new, be it about work, people or culture in Micron.

I develop solutions in the IT Supply Chain Department

I work and develop solutions on Kinaxis' tool Rapid Response, which supports the supply chain process for better efficiency. My role involves understanding business requirements and translating it into technical work.

Working with an incredibly supportive and approachable team

Micron strongly believes in it's core values, and demonstrates them from time to time, 'people' being one of them. Micron constantly encourages and celebrates its people through recognitions and rewards. The fact that I work with a supportive team makes work much smoother Joining Micron Young Professionals ERG, India chapter and being on the steering committee of the Culture pillar has facilitated great networking opportunities for me apart from work and organizing events at the MOI level was indeed one of a kind experience.

Strive to become a better version of yourself

I strongly believe there is no limit to learning and that there should be consistency in constantly attempting to improve one's knowledge in preferred domains. Having a growth mindset as well helps a long way; even with setbacks and bumps in the road, being optimistic and having the will to progress would definitely make the breakthrough.
