1. Moved to USA in 2011, as i wanted to have deep understanding of various aspects of IT delivery model from stakeholder management, to delivery management. Delivered a large Data warehouse solution for a fortune 500 client. Got good hands on experience in IT Services delivery model, client management and saw real time how IT solved real business problem.
2. In 2015, after gaining 10yrs. Of experience in IT, I quit my job in US and moved to India to study management from IIM Calcutta. Learned various aspects of management from lectures by top notch professors, interactions with industry stalwarts and by socializing with brilliant peer groups and alumni network.
3. Throughout my career, I loved working in data technologies. Thus, after IIM I continued to pursue my passion in data and joined companies which provided my great exposure to cutting edge data technologies, truly making me a data enthusiast that I am today.
I drive the architecture for Industry 4.0 transformation at Micron.
I lead the solution architecture team in India, which along with global architecture team, is tasked with driving Industry 4.0 transformation at Micron. I am responsible for ensuring that the end architecture for all the Bigdata, AI/ML and cloud projects delivered by India team is robust, scalable, secured and delivers high performance. Industry 4.0 projects provide solutions for business problems that drives growth in Micron's Top line and bottom line by optimizing for yield, cost, scale and quality by leveraging key data technologies such as Big Data/Cloud, IoT, Advanced Analytics, AI/ML and AR (Augmented Reality). My team works with various business stakeholders to bring this transformation to life. My team in India also works with global architecture team to deliver best practices and reference architectures which accelerates the Industry 4.0 project cycle times.
Working with brilliant architects on complex bigdata/AI-ML projects
I work with some of the brilliant Bigdata/AI-ML architects to deliver solution architectures that solve complex problems at Micron. So my team is delivering the Industry 4.0 transformation using cutting edge data technologies such Bigdata/AI-ML. Data technologies are my passion and what better way to solve real business problems using some of the best technologies in the market. In this process, I learn from some of the brightest technical minds that keeps me abreast with the latest and greatest technologies in data. Also, at Micron, I get to rub my shoulders with Tech wizards possessing deep technical know-how and its amazing to see how they solve some of the complex problems so easily. All this, I believe will help me become a better data technologist and accelerate my career growth by several notches.
