Using a SOAR platform to Automate Security response to alerts

I design playbooks that can interact with APIs and can do certain actions based on different types of alerts received. In this case, I mainly focus on Security Alerts and Automate Responses

There is no status quo and I get to learn a lot

Every use case we tackle is very different and requires thinking from a different perspective. I really enjoy that and love trying to solve complex problems by simplifying them into smaller pieces. I also have a great mentor here who helps me with any questions I have

Never Settle and always try to find something where you can add value

It's all about finding something that you can do better than others and creating value there. Once you an do that, you can laterally pivot into other areas you have interest in, and become more well rounded.

Being able to single handedly Automate 2 tickets saving ~100+ hrs

I completely automated 2 ticket categories that the CSES team used to receive. There were the VSCAN client infection tickets and the PKI certificate renewal tickets. There were heavily manual effort requiring tickets and after these automations, our team saves over 100 man hours monthly.
