Please tell me about a project you recently completed.

Recently, I completed execution of a project that involved enabling users to do a reverse image search on a platform for analyzing wafer defects. The goal was to accomplish something like a google image search, where if you have a reference image containing a particular pattern of defects, the user is interested in searching for similar patterns in other wafer images too. The project was challenging, in the sense that the user expects results to pop out on the screen within minutes, after searching through roughly a lac images. Fortunately, the functionality was enabled via an innovative use of parallelism, and it is being deployed for testing right now!!
