Personally I have never been a fan of working from home, I feel it makes me feel more lazy and lethargic. I like moving around and completing my 10k steps daily, which becomes a lot harder when I work from home. And I like my morning Micron cab ride to office, where I can see the city and read a bit of daily news. That being said, I like WFH occasionally when I have some errands at home, or when I didn't get proper sleep the night before. With those personal thoughts out of our way, Micron's flexible working options gives us the option to opt for WFH for up to 2-3 days per week depending on the team. And in case you are going out of town, then after seeking your manager's approval you can get extended duration of WFH flexibility. All in all, I would say that if you want something like a remote job working environment, then Micron's policies won't suit you. But if you like the hybrid model of working, then Micron offers the best of the two worlds.
